“Mexico, US to battle weapons traffic” Napolitano vows to use existing laws. I’m glad Holder doesn’t
have the unilateral authority to ban all semiautomatic firearms as would have occurred under HR 1022 from the last congress.

Mexico, US to battle weapons traffic (google news)
"We want to take advantage of this moment in time when we are all unified to get at the scourge that really these cartels represent, recognizing their impact within Mexico but also into within the United States," said Napolitano.

The latest visit comes a day after the US Senate approved a 550 million dollar package to stop the southward flow of guns and money to cartels from US sources.

The officials said that the heated issue of changing US gun laws was not part of the discussions.

"We intend to go forward with the laws that we have. We're not going to wait for congress to act or not act," Napolitano said.

A crisis is too important to waste and we can always create one if a government’s ministry of propaganda controls the main stream media.

1. 550 million dollar package to stop the southward flow of guns
Holy shit, that's a boatload of cash that can be used for REALLY fighting crime, not the made up crime of "the southward flow of guns".

Come on people, you, our elected officials can not be that stupid to believe all of these automatic weapons are coming from gun shops and gun shows in the US. Nobody is that stupid.

I agree with this statement:

"A crisis is too important to waste and we can always create one if a government’s ministry of propaganda controls the main stream media."
