Number of firearm accidents compared to others.
When comparing the number of firearm accidents to other accidents, 57 times more Americans die in motor vehicle accidents, 30 times more die from poisoning, 25 times more die from falls, 7 times more die from choking and suffocation, 5 times more from drowning, 4 times more from fires, and 3 times more from medical "misadventures" and environmental factors respectively.

1. Yup - statistics. But, just one needless gun-involved death is too many. NT

6. That is true enough, but everything is getting worse right now.
All violence and crime are up. That is a result of the economy.
Also, the mass shooters often want attention, which they are able get with media these days.

8. That is why his statistics are so skewed.
Only one person died in the US last year while wearing a Mohawk Haircut. Does this mean that people with Mohawks are safer?

More people drive multiple times each day, but nobody shoots their gun that often. Oh, lets compare those ! Better yet, lets compare an AK-47 fired from the surface of the moon to a saucer of apple sauce in the refidgerator.
