It's thinking like that which leads to tragedy. Firearms are not toys. They are tools and weapons. Ownership should be considered seriously and your ability to cause injury or death should always be considered and respected. Citizens of this country have a right to carry firearms for personal defense. We do not have a right to deprive others of life unless they mean to and have acted in a way deprive us of life. Simplistic and naive comments about peace signs are not going to change anything. Discussion about what drives people to commit crimes against others and commit violent acts, and taking steps to intervene in those people's lives WAY before they choose to pick up a weapon, serves a much better purpose. Why don't you put some effort into that?
