Now if he has police personnel or someone from the DA's office asserting this, it may be altogether different. But Griffen is just an ass who likes to run his mouth.

Did you read in the Post-Gazette this morning that Mom is threatening to sue everyone because she doesn't like how the situation is being reported? She thinks that she and poor little sonny boy are being unfairly portrayed. Boo-fracking-hoo, lady. :eyes:

Reached yesterday afternoon, Mrs. Poplawski declined comment on the police report.

Earlier yesterday, she called David Shribman, executive editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, to complain about the newspaper's coverage of the shootings and threaten a lawsuit.

She demanded that the newspaper stop publishing information about her and her son, saying the reporting thus far was not factual and should be limited to the officers and their grieving families.

"You're going to have the biggest lawsuit in the history of the city of Pittsburgh," she later told a reporter.

7. I was just getting ready to post about the mother threatening to sue

She is a real piece of work and gives you a window into why her son turned out the way he did. Who cares how her son looks right now? Her son not only shot the officers in cold blood but went out and made sure, at least, one of the officers was dead by shooting him a couple more times.

As for the mother not telling the police there were guns in the house, I heard that story yesterday on KDKA. I'm sure the information will come out from the 911 call and hopefully the mother will be held responsible if she indeed didn't give them the information about guns being in the house.

police she should certainly face the appropriate charges for that.

But as far as watching him load the guns, and egging him on, unless they have that on tape or she's admitted to doing it, how would anyone know?

Especially since she all I've heard is that the mother high-tailed it to the basement when she heard the shots and turned around to see her son with the gun.

I just listened to an interview with the shooters grandmother who talks about the view that "Obama will be taking away their guns". She and the grandson and the "best friend" all seem to be on the same page.
