kind of an interesting but vapid article that defines all liberals as anti-gun, giving the typical stupid anti-gun arguments and responding to them as if no other leftist in history had ever owned a gun.

Nice sentiment, but many years late...all I can say I hope some of the leftist holdouts see the light and get the idea that ALL our rights are equally important...

Someone, somewhere on the "left" web sites should take note. DailyKos & HuffPo (most esp.) need to have a left-of-center 2A advocate, not a GOP anti-gun spokesperson with a regular gig.

How 'bout it, progressive NewMedia sites? Don't you think it's time for a lefty, pro-2A advocate? On a regular basis?

5. We have been our own worst enemies on this issue for decades and the GOP

relies on the votes they get in response to the anti-gun proclamations of some high-horse liberals...the NRA on one side and the "gun control -republican run organizations-make a ton of money and exert a lot of influence spreading fear and fingerpointing Democratic politicians who fall into this quicksand...

I hope there really is a new, rational thought coming through the old drama...

2. Read the 1400 plus posts

While there are those among us who would vehemently denounce ANY pro gun position as a repugnant right-wing screed, reading the overwhelmingly positive response to the article on the KOS was refreshing. To be sure, there were some hateful, "no true liberal...", knee-jerk, and surly responses vilifying the concept, the author and author's ancestry, but by rough estimate they were by far in the minority, maybe 20%, so perhaps some are seeing the rational overcome the emotional.
