UGLY.... People need to learn, that when join a Republican anti-civil liberty group, like MAIG, and The Brady Campaign, it just does NOT set well with a majority of Democrats, and you run the potential to have your membership in such vile groups exposed to the voters.

You need to look into the background of those groups...They are ALL, founded, and LED by Republicans..

Gun Control, in the vast majority of the nation, is an absolute non-starter, your first vote for it, tends to be one of your last votes... You run a dire risk, even TALKING about it...

So the question is, why, would a Republican led group, want DEMOCRATS to take a politically suicidal stance?? After all the list of Democratic politicians is very long, that followed the "pied pipers" of the Brady Campaign, to their electoral defeat.

It is a very liberal view, to support ALL our civil liberties, and not just the ones, that "some like" and try to destroy the ones that "are not liked".

That is being a hypocrite.

It is GOP-founded, and GOP-led, and the "go-to" source for DEMOCRATIC gun-control advocates. It has advocated wide-scale gun bans (which, as you should know, is a kiss-of-death issue for many "progressives & liberals"), and gets (despite only a phone-booth-sized office) copious coverage by MSM, and access to the Democratic Party pilot house.

I sometimes wonder if Democrats suffer from a Stockholm Syndrome when it comes to guns and the Bradys. BTW, while some gun-controllers/prohibitionists decry the citation of "conservative" news sources in this forum, they have no problem whatsoever with citing the GOP-founded, GOP-led Brady Center.
