Police:Woman wrests gun, kills teen robber

A woman wrested a gun from a teenager who robbed her and killed him early Friday on a dark street in Munhall, Allegheny County police said.

The 20-year-old woman was walking to buy cigarettes at a nearby convenience store when Heath pointed a gun at her and demanded money, said police and prosecutors, who did not release her identity.

"She handed over what little she had, but he asked for more," said county police Lt. Andrew Schurman.

At that point, the two struggled for control of the gun. Heath was shot once in the chest.

"She stayed there and called 911," Schurman said.
