exhibition or use of a deadly weapon
"Portland Police Capt. Todd Wyatt was placed on paid leave today after Idaho officials informed the bureau that Wyatt is being charged with exhibition or use of a deadly weapon stemming from an alleged off-duty road rage case this summer. On Aug. 13, Wyatt is accused of pointing a pistol at another motorist while driving westbound on I-90, near milepost 6 in Post Falls, Idaho. Keep um handy, you never know when you'll need to shoot someone who changed lanes in front of you.

5. Let me fix that for you.
Yet another example of someone doing things not protected by 2A, AND someone pretending otherwise.

If you think the message might be lost on muggers who failed Latin, this one is clearer.

11. Had you read the article...
it had nothing to do with a gun owner misbehaving, but rather a government employee misbehaving. Two VERY different things.

This has nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment.

15. awww yes
you once again prove logic is not your friend. Let me explain it for the Hoope's #9 abusers. See, he had a gun nearby, it doesn't matter what his job is. In fact it shows someone more trained than you can snap. Simple explanation for you, I know you need special treatment, handy gun, escalated situation. Diagrams upon request. The ignorance in this forum sometimes is mind-boggling.

16. cops are not always
more trained. This has nothing to do with marksmanship or safety training. Has more to do with state of mind and maybe thinking he was above the law because he is a cop.

Like, for instance, a person who refers to Hoppe's #9 as Hoope's #9?

Couldn't agree more!!

12. "Never aim at something you are ready to shoot."
That's one of the first rules they taught us in the Police Academy. I have drawn my weapon on duty before and would have been good to go on the subsequent shooting if it came down to that, thankfully it never has.

Pointing a gun at someone in traffic would be a huge issue both legally and within the department. I'm pretty sure such behavior is strictly forbidden according to the Ohio Revised Code.
