Seriously...I heard him on the radio spouting off about how much more worthy Reagan is than Hamilton to be on the $10 bill (he even threw in the classless "at least we know Reagan was a better shot"), and he sure sounded flamboyant about it.

OK, I'm sure this will be construed by the thin-skinned here as an attack on gays (which it's not). But Norquist sure sounds gay to me. And that's an awfully gay name.

I had never heard Norquist speak prior to this whole Reagan $10 bill "debate" a few days ago. The guy sounds gay in my opinion.

I didn't mean for his sexual orientation to be open for debate or ridicule. But Slack is right...if it were the case, it would open a Pandora's Box of (further) hypocrisy on the Right.

Basically the NRA are the RepubliKKKans brownshirts. Gun deaths are a 9-11 every month here in America. Gun regulation in other advanced nations has shown that a free society doesn't need everyone carrying a gun. If guns made people free, Afghanistan would be the freest place in world and Sweden would be a Gulag. Here in America you can compare Massachussetts or Hawaii's murder rate with any other state with a least one city over 500,000 and the differences are obvious.

If you really cared about reducing crime and violence, you should go out there and advocate ending the war on drugs and reducing unemployment and poverty.

Your correlative statistics are easily rebutted with other correlative statistics that show the opposite trend. Bottom line is, gun don't make much of a difference either way (look up recent CDC report about this). Disarming the populace, however, does make it easier for them to be controlled by the government who, of course, will always be armed. Is that what you want?

Hell the only exceptions you guys can come up with are Switzerland and Washington D.C., two of the weirdest places in the world that sort of are the exceptions that prove the rule. EVERY SINGLE EU NATION HAS MULTIPLES LESS MURDER. Japan has virtually no murders by gun. Australia changed it's laws and the murder rate has went down. One has to have a learning disabilty not to see a correllation.

I believe that the NBA needs to be stopped. Anyone who dares tie Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's record of consecutive seasons scoring over 20 points per game is a public saftey menace. Malone is also threatening to tie Abdul-Jabbar for all time minutes played and all time points scored. This must not happen! Therefore I say the government must step in and do something about these threats to Abdul-Jabbar's milestones. The NBA is doing nothing to preserve the legacy of Abdul-Jabbar. They are obviously turning a deaf ear to the plight of Abdul-Jabbar fans nationwide.

Ted Nugent is a moron. I don't think anyone here "looks up" to him, or any of the other NRA board members for that matter. We have formed our opinions on guns independently of activist groups...I don't see why that's so hard to understand. You don't have to be in the NRA to support individual RKBA.

I tore up my NRA membership about three years ago. In spite of their top-notch gun safety and training programs, I got tired of my dues going toward putting asshole neo-con Republicans into office. I decided that my money was better spent donating to candidates directly who support my views on guns, along with other issues.
