Poll question: What is your concealed carry method?
Well, what is your carry method? Use your most typical, or favorite if you use multiple methods.

I typically carry IWB

1. Knapsack, fanny pack, bicycle luggage
If I'm in camp and use a weapon it's generally carried openly in a holster.

And to head off the obvious line of criticism there are places and circumstances where a permit is not required.

Edited on Mon Aug-30-04 09:51 AM by slackmaster
I got my new tuxedo jacket tailored to accommodate a 1911 pistol in a shoulder harness. It was fun communicating that requirement to the tailor. I was a little surprised that he'd heard it many times before and didn't make a big deal out of it.

Mostly due to the draw. I much prefer strong side carry, IWB. I usually use "The Greatest Holster Ever" the Comp-Tac C-Tac. Almost undetectable.

Edited on Mon Aug-30-04 01:40 PM by slackmaster
You don't need a permit to carry concealed when on private property or at a place of business. All you need is the permission of the owner, manager, proprietor, etc. It is also legal to have a concealed weapon when you are at a campsite.

I resent people making accusations like this in a public forum. I haven't and will not give you complete information about the circumstances in which I have carried a concealed weapon, and any probing on your part in that direction would be highly personal and inappropriate.

I've got a .357 snubbie that I've been carrying in a pocket holster.

I like to carry my 1911's though as well, although I havent quite found an IWB that I like well enough yet.

Never got one that suited me. My solution?

or

I still get the almost 1911 feel from the defender and I get 11 (10 in the mag + one up the pipe) from the 145. Both are .45ACP so I don't lose any power compared to the 1911.

Sometimes I go for the fanny pack. Especially in summer.

Watch out, guys. I'll soon be carrying everywhere. There's no one else on the ballot but me for Constable in my precinct. Constable is a qualified LEO in my state.

Hey! That means I can soon carry in CA, NJ, D.C., Chicago, etc. with no problems. Just gotta have my ID and a copy of my proof of being sworn.

I'm gonna enjoy this!

Or is it required in your state? In TX you have 2 years to complete your training after being elected, otherwise they pull your position. If you already have a commission it's unnecessary.
