Ex-Steeler Strzelczyk dies in crash (High speed chase from cops)
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/04274/388172.stm

Former Steelers offensive lineman Justin Strzelczyk was killed when the pickup truck he was driving this morning crashed into a tractor trailer during a high-speed chase with police near Utica, N.Y.

Sources said Strzelczyk led New York state police on a chase for a half hour, during which time he threw an empty beer bottle at pursuing troopers, blew out a tire on his vehicle and drove on the wrong side of Interstate 90 before crashing. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Strzelczyk played for the Steelers for 10 years after being drafted in the 11th round of the 1990 National Football League draft following a collegiate career at the University of Maine.

2. Oh no. That's a shame
He was a great player. I was able to watch him play at Three Rivers many times during the 90's.

RIP Justin.

5. Hey, youve been watching Cops havent you?
My son turns that on every saturday night, I have no idea why. I always wondered how many chase scenes hit the editing room floor because the cops dont catch the crooks though.

9. He probably was not wearing his seat belt. Or he could have been
smashed out of his mind and had a few problems in life that didn't warrant him stopping to talk to police for a chitchat... very unfortunate thing.. very sad too.

6. its good no one else was injured or killed.
I dont really feel to sad for this former football guy, he brought it on himself.

I dont feel too bad when someone does something reckless, or when someone drives drunk and gets themselves killed.

IMO its a real tradgety however when they go and kill someone who wasnt even involved with thier situation.
