(IsraelNn.com) Hizbullah arch-terrorist Hassan Nasrallah accused the United States and Israel of attempting to spark a civil war in Lebanon. Nasrallah said Monday that the U.S. and Israel are aiming at “resistance movements” in Lebanon, “Palestine” and Iraq in particular. The Hizbullah chief’s diatribe was delivered from a balcony in the Lebanese capital in honor of a Shi’ite tradition marking the assassination of a Shi’ite leader by Iraqi Sunnis in 680.
In his speech, Nasrallah emphasized the inconclusive outcome of Israel’s war with the Hizbullah terrorist organization in Lebanon last summer, taunting, “Israel is now weaker than a spider’s web.”
Despite his claims that negotiations for a prisoner swap with the Jewish State are under way, the Hizbullah chief echoed the words of one of the group’s most generous patrons, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has threatened repeatedly to wipe Israel off the map.
“The future of Israel is death,” announced Nasrallah “and the future of this umma (Islamic nation) is life,” he said.
