Sharon: Peace road map must not be violated
(no this isn't the Onion)

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon warned that his government would not tolerate the slightest Palestinian violation of the road map for peace, the Israeli media reported on Friday.

"The experience of the past shows that the worst mistake, after reaching an agreement, is ignoring violations in implementation, even if they appear small," Sharon said in a speech to the national defence college on Thursday.

"There is no progression from one phase to the next before the full implementation of the previous one," he stressed.

1. Of course...
Edited on Fri Aug-01-03 10:34 PM by Darranar
but what will you do about the slightest Israeli violations of the roadmap, Mr. Sharon? Ignore them?

On second thought, I probably don't want to know what you will do. I might well :puke:.

2. From your own link
The first stage of the three-phase blueprint, which was due to have been completed by in May 2003, calls on the Palestinian Authority to crack down on militant groups but also requires Israel to dismantle all settlement outposts erected since March 2001 and freeze all settlement activity.

snip

you have many times railed about settlements, can we expect the same amount of rants about the PA cracking down on militant groups?

3. Ah-huh.
So instead of addressing the utter joke that is Ariel Sharon making demands that his govt hasn't lived up to (and doesn't ever intend to), you'd rather grill me for perceived imbalance in my rants. Always a new method of looking the other way as Israel's racist aggression and ethnic cleansing continue with the full, unconditional backing of the United States, eh Gabys?

5. ya, continue talking about that whacky imbalanced Resistance
while Israel's aggression, terrorism, and ethnic cleansing continue.

Look the other way as a little Palestinian boy is murdered in cold blood by an Israeli soldier.

Look the other way as an American citizen is bulldozed to death by the Israeli army.

Look the other way as bombs are dropped on Palestinian civilian buildings.

Look the other way as a racist Apartheid wall is built on land stolen from the native people.

Look the other way as Israeli missiles are slammed into crowds of Palestinian civilians.

Look the other way as religious freaks openly state they are stealing land from Arabs because they think God gave it to them.

And continue your whining about that treacherous Resistance DUer who is just so imbalanced in his rants. Ewww-boo-hoo-hoo he wont rant about Palestinians as much.

Always can count on you, Gabys.

8. Kind of ironic...
I guess for anyone wanting to see how fair and balanced you can be, all they need to do is look at the flood of articles posted by drdon and co. which all totally ignore any violations or unwillingness on the part of Israel to follow the roadmap and play the Blame Game, placing it totally on the side of the Palestinians. Interesting that you chose Resistance to try to prove a point with. I hate to break the news to you, but whatever point it was you thought you were making back-fired.....

So, will you be actually devoting a smidgen of yr time to speaking out against Israels violations of the road-map so far? Don't you find it even a bit hypocritical of Sharon to be saying he won't be tolerating the slightest Palestinian violation of the road-map while Israel itself is actually violating it?

Violet...
