Palestinians killed in Gaza raid

At least seven Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli raid in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinians say.
Witnesses said about 40 tanks and armoured vehicles entered Rafah refugee camp on the Gaza-Egypt border.
Israel says the operation was aimed at destroying tunnels used to smuggle explosives from Egypt into Gaza.
Hours earlier two Israeli army officers died in an ambush in the central Gaza Strip, making it one of the bloodiest days in the region for months.

2. Yes, I guess
as long as Israelis are the ones safer, it doesn't matter how many Palestinian civilians are killed in the mean time. Security for one non security for others...

3. Beautiful
Notice how this raid was conducted within hours of the Egyptian visit?

Sharon watchers understand the pattern:

If there is any slight possibility of reconciliation, negotiation, etc., Sharon will kill it in the womb.

4. up to 8 now
around three dozen wounded and it seems around 10-12 homes destroyed by "Peace Bulldozers". May climb to nine dead soon, as one of the wounded is a 4yr old with a "Peace Bullet" to the head.

8. The IDF got their kicks today didn't they?
Killed 8 Palestinians. How very brave of them to invade a refugee camp and start shooting up the place.

Muneer Abdel A'al, who left with 16 members of his extended family, said: "We heard shooting, heavy bombardments.

"The children started crying. We couldn't run into the street because the tanks were firing there. I took a hammer and made an opening to our neighbour's house.

"We jumped out of a window. We tried to go one way, but the army shot at us. We are now sitting in the street. You can hear the children crying."

Mr Abdel A'al, 27, who sells food in a refugee school, said: "This is war. I saw bodies. I saw body parts. I saw tanks with cannons. What does the Israeli army want from us?

Well, Mr. A'al, they want to murder you and your children for one thing. You are living on land that they want to steal from you. Get the picture?

10. Resistance
"How very brave of them to invade a refugee camp and start shooting up the place."

The Egyptian visit meant that someone wanted to discuss peace.

Sharon was forced to protect tiny Israel's "security" against the "terrorists" by preempting any possible discussion.

So he killed a few arabs. Back to normal.

11. It is to be expected
Sharon is a butcher - literally. A butcher of men, women, and children.
