<snip>

"Israel Defense Forces troops killed a 17-year-old Palestinian during a raid in the West Bank city of Nablus on Saturday, Palestinian medics said.

An IDF spokeswoman said its forces fired at "an armed Palestinian who approached the soldiers with the intent to attack them" in Nablus' Balata refugee camp.

Earlier Saturday, a seven-year-old Palestinian girl died Saturday of wounds sustained after being shot by Israel Defense Forces troops in the Gaza Strip refugee camp of Khan Yunis a day earlier, Palestinian sources said.

The IDF said that the troops fired warning shots in the area, and did not carry out any targeted shootings."

2. As long as the shootings weren't targeted, no problem. The random
killing of children should be objectionable to no one. Interesting Kyra Phillips on CNN noted the recent killings involved the death of some Hamas militants without noting who else was killed. One can only imagine the coverage on the "fair and balanced" network.
