Israeli shot dead north of West Bank city of Ramallah
The body of an Israeli civilian shot once in the chest was found Tuesday morning in an area north of the West Bank city of Ramallah, the Israel Defense Forces and Palestinian rescue officials said.

Police said that the victim, identified only as a man in his fifties, was a frequent visitor to the region, which, like all territory designated as Area A, is strictly off-limits to Israelis by order of the overall IDF West Bank commander.

Residents of the town of Beit Rima, close to the site where the body was found, said the man had sold construction materials in the area, and that the IDF had imposed a curfew on the village Tuesday.

.....

Several Israeli businessmen have been killed in similar circumstances during nearly four years of fighting.
