then, on why you consider it a tinfoil site, laughable. I haven't seen the presentation but some friends have been impressed. I personally can't rule out the idea that BushCO was actually responsible for 911, beyond just 'letting it happen.' (which is also similarly deplorable). I don't care if the guy's not a great site builder...

6. too fast for a commercial airtline

the plane that hit WTC2 was going 590 mph? Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it was well over 500 MPH. This is just near impossible to do I understand with a Commercial 767 at such low elevations. Cruise speeds in these ranges are reached at 30000 feet but not at near ground level. Another solid reason that the WTC2 crash was a military tanker not a commercial airline.

into another screaming match between the "tinfoil hat" squad:thumbsdown: and the "debunkers,":thumbsup: I actually have the numbers in front of me, courtesy of Charles Pellegrino recent book Ghosts of Vesuvius (he was one of scientists brought in to study the collapse of the WTC towers; they discovered that the surge clouds unleashed from both collapses reproduced in miniature the effects that they were uncovering from their recent studies of the destroyed cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum and the eruption of 79 AD.)

Here's the numbers he gave in the book's final chapter "Ghosts of New York (pg. 411):"

Flight 11 flew into WTC 1 at about 470 MPH (or 771 KPH.)
Flight 175 flew into WTC 2 at about 590 MPH (or 968 KPH.)

The difference in the impacting speed between the two planes is likely the main reason WTC 2 collapsed first (more force - greater damage.)

There was greater damage in WTC1 considering that the plane impacted basically the center of the wall and knocked out a nice chunk of central core columns.
