This is very freaky!!!! This is John Kerry's horoscope for tomorrow and it was posted on Elle.com. Note that this horoscope was posted for those who are Sagittarius and not Kerry himself, but this resembles him word for word. Check out the last line where it states.....Your reputation for being a "strong closer" has never been more evident – or important. Really freaky!

Weekend Update: Friday and Saturday bring out your eloquence, vision and gift for moving others into action. Others listen and respond to your comments – and are likely to learn something that changes their view of things. Because you are determined to tell the truth, you make a memorable impact. You can sense that others are very supportive and view you as a leader or guide. On Saturday, you’re apt to be busy, as if you’re on a very tight schedule. You’ll get an enormous amount of work completed, and are advised to balance your mood with healthy exercise. Good news that continues to get better arrives. Sunday is overflowing with "opinionitis." It seems that everyone feels obligated to present their take on things, whether you ask for it or not. Even if you decide to listen, don’t be moved. You know what needs to be done. You know what needs to be done. Your reputation for being a "strong closer" has never been more evident – or important.

Monthly Horoscope:

For October 2004: Venus enters your career and reputation sector on the 3rd, paving the way for favorable reviews and response. Hard work and dedication will pay substantial dividends in the months to come – and October offers a sneak peek of your intriguing future. Mid month brings a Solar Eclipse that is a battle cry for ‘all hands on deck’. A project or important milestone requires the best that you and your team have to offer. The more you give, the more you’ll get – in typical instant karma fashion. Mid month also demands spotless timing, loads of concentration and near perfect preparation. You can do this, so don’t shudder. You’ve been prepping for this moment for ages. During the third week, you hit a bullseye! Your message is heard, understood and embraced. Finally – you’ve made that all-important connection you’ve hoped for. The late month Lunar Eclipse suggests that you lead by example. Be honest and straightforward and speak the truth, even if it isn’t what others expect to hear. Your honesty will be appreciated, recognized, and rewarded. And who knows – it may even save the day. . . .

CANCER

Daily Horoscope:

Weekend Update: You feel refreshed and upbeat Friday morning and afternoon. All signs seem to be positive, bolstering your self-confidence and deepening your commitment to move forward. A financial matter may continue to mystify. Each time you think you understand a money matter, more surprises roll in, sending you back to square one. This isn’t a painful process because it appears you’ll benefit, no matter how the details or explanations stack up. You end the day on a satisfied note. Saturday is even better than Friday. The news is good. Others’ response is a mixture of relief and gratitude. Your confidence is fully restored. Sunday reinforces some of your deeply held beliefs. Although this helps you feel strong and committed, it may adversely affect your ability to communicate clearly with others. Don’t allow your point of view to drown out what others are trying to tell you.

Monthly Horoscope:

For October 2004: Venus has a sweet, calming affect on your temperament this month. Edginess eases and is replaced by a renewed appreciation for beauty and affection. Because you tend to worry and sometimes interpret life as an ongoing security risk, you benefit from focusing on the beauty surrounding you. Whether your environment is bricks and mortar or something more bucolic, you become more conscious of everyday miracles, particularly after the 3rd. Mid month brings a defining Solar Eclipse that helps put priorities in order. A rash of activity and increasing demands on your time make sticking to priorities a necessity. Mid to late October is ideal for intimate social occasions, romantic getaways and a return to your creative roots. Make something! Allow your imagination to soar. Blend fun with good causes and raise money for something you believe in. This time of year is well suited for recounting the miracles you’ve already witnessed. A sense of wonder and a deep desire to transform your current situation make significant, progressive change more likely. Believing in miracles is highly recommended, especially if you’re seeking peace, security and unconditional love.

7. Mine - Apparently I will win Friday's Debate too with my Gemini Allure
I am thinking all of Elle's horoscopes are upbeat. . .

Weekend Update: You radiate light on Friday morning and afternoon. Others feel inexplicably drawn to you and may not want to leave. Later Friday, your allure intensifies, and others strain to listen to your every word. Most people feel so good in your presence that they don’t need to understand the meaning of everything you say. Your vibe makes others feel better. On Saturday, you make up your mind to discard residual disappointment and set your sights on something new. Saturday has an energy building, life-enhancing aura. Because you believe so strongly in someone or something, you’re able to send an inspiring, motivating message. Sunday zeroes in on someone you adore. You’re so crazy about this person that you are unable to distance yourself and see things as they are. Instead, you see what you want to see. Yes, you’re looking through the eyes of love – but it wouldn’t hurt to stand back and get a better view.

13. "Progressive change more likely..."
I love that part.

I try to make a point of reading my horoscope the day AFTER so as not to unconsciously conflict with my goals for that day.

I find it neat to read about what Could have happened and I'm astounded that there is roughly a 40% correlation.
(I'm 6/6 - Gemini)

Can't wait to see...

8. Well, if I wrote the astrology column for Elle, and I knew that

the candidates would be debating on Friday, I'd be sure that the Sagittarius horoscope had some bits that sounded perfect for Kerry, and that the Cancer (?) horoscope gave similarly "personal" info on Bush*.

No psychic powers needed here.

Onion Horoscope for Capricorn: (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

16. The only astrologer I've ever cared much for...
Rob Brezny.

Sagittarius Horoscope for week of October 7, 2004

Wrap your imagination around this innovation, if you can: a gas-electric hybrid SUV that's a luxury car but gets more than 40 miles per gallon and produces almost no smog-forming emissions. Lexus has created this marvel, and it'll go on sale in early 2005. I'm certainly not suggesting you should buy it, but I do think it's an apt symbol for the frame of mind you should cultivate in the coming weeks: lavish yet efficient; high-quality and responsible; richly expansive but smartly disciplined.

17. And Cancer:
A character you could justifiably call "Swamp Angel" will help you get down and dirty this week-and I mean "down and dirty" in the best sense. You're deep by nature, Cancerian, but you may have never been as deep as you're going to get in the next few weeks. Swamp Angel will be just one of several influences urging you to dive beyond your previous levels. By the way, I suspect that while you're exploring the depths, you'll encounter some paradoxical pleasures that aren't what they initially appear to be. To assist you in preparing for them, I'll tell you what I heard a little boy tell his father in a grocery store today: "I'm a monster, but I'm a good monster."
