Too early for election predictions? (Make 'em here anyway)
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 12:03 PM by HFishbine

POPULAR VOTE

Kerry: 51.5% Bush: 46.6%

ELECTORAL COLLEGE

Kerry: 300 Bush: 238

Surprises: Bush carries Florida, Ohio, West Virginia, New Hampshire, one of Maine's apportioned congressional districts and still loses. Kerry carries North Carolina, Colorado and, in a stunner, Tennessee.

Plus one vote majorities in House and Senate for The Democrats, and 3 governorships, 12 legislatures, with a bonus of 3 retirements in Supreme Court by next summer!
