Why can't the Kerry camp get this right?
Edited on Sun Oct-10-04 09:44 AM by RunningFromCongress
I'm watching meet the press and edwards just can't put together a good argument to russert. Kerry hasn't been able to do it very effectively either. What they need to say is "We gave the president the authority to use war as a LAST resort, we voted that he goto war ONLY AFTER the inspectors did their work, the president didn't allow the to do their work"

And this BS that Russert just threw at him about "You say they didn't have what they needed, but you voted against the 87 billion, and you say after that they didn't have what they needed" why can't they Kerry camp say "The bill passed, our votes didn't hold anything back from the troops, we voted no to send a message that we wont stand for poor planning" ARRRGGG

1. They keep fucking up the $87B, too.
Bush threatened to veto it TWICE. You think just MAYBE they would have mentioned that, at least once.

2. Face if our guys were as good as Bush's people at saying anything we would
have already wiped Bush's chance out. They just aren't.

3. On the $87 billion...
Edwards did mention that Bush & Cheney sent our troops into Iraq without the armor in the first place. Every time the Bush camp brings up the $87 billion this fact should be mentioned alongside Bush's threat of a veto if the bill was not changed to his liking.
