Has anyone discussed this gem from Dumbya about Judges?
Bush: "I really don't have - haven't picked anybody yet . Plus, I want them all voting for me."

I thought this was one of his many idiotic, yet weird answers. Was that an attempt at a joke? Then, like all his other attempts at jokes it was horrible.

1. Considering the conclusion of the 2000 elections
Considering the conclusion of the 2000 elections I think he's the last person who should make a joke like that.

2. It called a "Crack joke".
Any judge Caligula would appoint would never vote for Kerry in a million years - and everyone knows it. It would make no difference what Caligula did, any of these "likely" appointees would vote Thuglican. But by saying that he couldn't name anyone yet, because he didn't want any of them to get mad and vote against him, he was making a arrogant, sneering little joke disguised as "cute". Another crack joke was "Anyone want to buy some lumber?" Heh heh... :eyes:

4. His Presidency
should be tried before Congress, The Supreme Court and the World Court, without legal representation.

6. It's infinitely worse than that.
Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scalia had family members working for Bush, yet neither recused himself. Then again, Bush was fine with his brother not recusing himself and his state campaign manager, Katherine Harris, also not recusing herself. I GUESS ETHICAL TIN EARS ARE CATCHING.

Why does no one hold them to account for this corruption? Why is the press so silent on this?

7. the worship of goofy bush
by the 'white men' (truly, anyone who listens to talk radio must marvel at the almost fanatic devotion to bush expressed by well to do white males!) says even a kerry victory really can't change things until some catastrophic event wakes up bush's worshippers, who control the main institutions in society..... such a catastrophic event would be economic meltdown or something (forcing the well fed to maybe miss a meal(?))
