If this doesn't belong in Campaign news the mods can move it. This is my first real DU article so I'm still learning the ropes here :hi: I signed up yesterday when I found this guy's blog on Blogger so after a year of lurking here wanted to spring aboard with it because it deserved big attention.
The Night George W. Bush Ordered A Thug To Tell Me To "GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!" (Caution: harsh language)http://theknightshift.blogspot.comIt's very long but scary read and _very_ well detailed. For something that happened way back in 2000 his memory is real good. Read the first two articles he did from this past month about sharing his story also because they're _vital_ to understand the rest. Since yesterday I've written to Mr. Knight twice and he's replied both times, said that though he's still uncommitted to voting for Kerry -- because Knight is very anti-abortion -- that Kerry is the more thoughtful/considerate of the two and he's much more impressed with the depth of his answers than Dubya's. But he's defintely not voting for Dubya after Bush did this to him. He's _not_ taking his story public out of anger or hatred toward Bush or anyone else -- read the first article he has linked inside this one and Knight sounds like a _real_ Christian, not faking it -- but he thought this was the right thing to do and wasn't scacred to do it. Read this from his blog ...
"And if any of George W. Bush’s supporters from Karl Rove on down to the lowliest bootlick want to try to destroy me on this: "bring 'em on." I've already written that I'm ready to admit to anything that they could throw against me for my doing this. They can attack and try to destroy me all they want, I don't care: I'm going to tell this story as best I can and nothing's going to deter me otherwise. But if anything happens to my loved ones because of it... well, I think I could take on Rove in a fair fight."
Did I do good for a first thread? :) I was a little scared to go this deep in the water so soon :scared:
