On August 7 of 2001 The Washington Post published an article that discussed George W. Bush's 42% vacation rate. They calculated that by the time Labor Day of that year rolled around the lazy fellow would have spent nearly half of his term to date either on vacation or heading to one.
Now Bush presents himself as being the fierce fighter of terrorism, and that in this matter he has become the indispensable man.
Yet in my opinion his chance to prove that was during the summer of 2001. But Bush chose to play golf, putter around his play ranch, and go sailing with Poppy in the very un-Texas New England coastal resort of Kennebunkport.
Bush slept and 3,000 died in the worst terrorist attack in American history.
Why the hell isn't this being brought up by the Kerry campaign?
