If W steals this election can we?
Could our states leave the union and go on our own? Or kick out the other right wing conservitive states?

I would have started my own thread but haven't got enough posts yet! Please spread the word! Contact the media, send it out in emails, post it on other forums. We only have a few days before the election to get it out.

LA Times: Bush Administration Suppresses CIA Report Until AFTER the Election!
http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-...l=la-util -...

October 19, 2004

Robert Scheer: The 9/11 Secret in the CIA's Back Pocket The agency is withholding a damning report that points at senior officials.

It is shocking: The Bush administration is suppressing a CIA report on 9/11 until after the election, and this one names names. Although the report by the inspector general's office of the CIA was completed in June, it has not been made available to the congressional intelligence committees that mandated the study almost two years ago.

"It is infuriating that a report which shows that high-level people were not doing their jobs in a satisfactory manner before 9/11 is being suppressed," an intelligence official who has read the report told me, adding that "the report is potentially very embarrassing for the administration, because it makes it look like they weren't interested in terrorism before 9/11, or in holding people in the government responsible afterward."

When I asked about the report, Rep. Jane Harman (D-Venice), ranking Democratic member of the House Intelligence Committee, said she and committee Chairman Peter Hoekstra (R-Mich.) sent a letter 14 days ago asking for it to be delivered. "We believe that the CIA has been told not to distribute the report," she said. "We are very concerned."

2. no
They tried this in the 1860's. It led to a real nasty little conflict called the civil war

9. because.. it's the UNITED States
however "divided" the people are -- it is the UNITED States of America.

We lost 620,000 men and women the last time a few states decided to secede. Don't wanna go there again.

Protesting is one thing. Leaving "the union" is entirely another proposition.

I don't get the second part. Protesting ANYTHING -- is not "sedition" -- unless you protest in the FORM of sedition ...

14. If Bush steals it again, there will be no more USA
All 230 years of struggle and upholding the law that WE THE PEOPLE elect our leaders will be gone. Lincoln was duly elected, the Civil War is a different scenario.

5. If all Democrats and Republicans lived in separate states,
we'd already have a civil war -- especially if they were neighboring states, as opposed to the coasts vs. the middle.

I wish there were a way to let the rightwing nuts secede -- and considering that the blue states are subsidizing the red states in tax revenues, I'd say CUT OFF their foreign aid!!!

put a national referendum on the ballot to kick out the red states and be done with it. Or what ever it takes, Then we can finally have a true democracy

12. why not
Tesibria, why not enough people talk about rioting/protesting if w steals the election and since we will have to do this any ways when Kerry enacts a draft to fill the military to the numbers he has promised why not.
