Quick update - these round the clock hours are reminding me of February & March...

First, if you are on Kos it would be a big help if you would visit & recommend this diary:

For anyone who is unclear why my latest emails ask this at the top, DailyKos is the premier weblog for our cause, receiving I believe over 400,000 hits per day. The downside is that postings drop off the page in minutes, but if they are recommended they can stay for many hours. In these cases, we need not only to spread the word for as much help as possible, but also as much feedback. The Kos folks & all off you have been a virtual focus group which is invaluable as we hone our message to maximize impact.

We are revising the edit of our "The Pet Goat" ad, and will have something to view & react to within two days. This alternative edit will be without the Towers footage.

In the mean time, here are two new ads:

- Re-edit of "The Pet Goat" without Towers footage

- In his Own Words spot featuring the President joking about not finding WMD's at the National Press Club dinner, cut with photos of the results of his War titled "What's so Funny?"

- A direct response to the new Swift Boat Vet ad, using their own footage against them.

2. Great content for both ads

If I had any criticism it would be that they need to put it in context a little better maybe with a voiceover. Imagine some security mom watching the program while doing the dishes.

We are trying to reach people who may not have been paying alot of attention. I think you have to hit them over the head with what he said then and what he says now.

4. I've been calling for a My Pet Goat ad for months

The only question is how much money do they have to get this on the air?

If some well-heeled Kerry supporters knew about this, I bet they'd pony up some cash in a hurry.

I'm living on student loans myself, or else I'd donate. I'd eat beans for a month if these ads could be deployed.

6. The organization has been around for a time, they started out

Dean centric ;) but decided to support Kerry after the primaries.

I donated a small amount, cause that's all I have right now. ;) But, every little bit helps.
