Why Doesn't Kerry Use Bush-asleep-at-the-Wheel Metaphor ?
On 9-11-2001, he was asleep at the wheel. And the Dems can prove it. Is this too nasty for Kerry to use ?

5. Turn on C-Span tomorrow morning
Edited on Fri Oct-22-04 04:37 PM by molly
there was a really ignorant and stupid rw woman calling in this morning that obviously had no idea what was going on in her neighborhood - much less this country. She was reading from a script.

2. He must...
That's the only issue that Bush has and he's pretending to be a "strong" leader. He is a weak leader. America would be foolish to follow him anywhere. It is only by the grace of God that we have not been attacked again. He has failed America.

7. No, it's not too nasty and yes,....

its a good idea. Ample documentation that Bush , Rice et al were out to lunch. Clarke, others, have said as much.

Fits rather well with another theme that I heard Kerry use effectively a few days ago: that Bush finds the presidency too "hard". B himself said about as much several times in debate #1.

Kind of surprising that the dems have given him a pass on pre 9-11 nonchalance. Maybe there's polling data that deters them.

Personally, I don't get it.

Paul
