Former Sen. Bob Smith (R-NH) endorses Kerry. Yes, you read that right!

He and his entire family are voting Kerry. The Repug coalition really is imploding. It may have something to do with Bush and the Repug party machine backing his primary opponent John Sununu two years ago more than anything else, but we can chalk up another coup for the good guys.

2. I KNEW IT!!! It's because they worked together on Vietnam issues
and veteran issues. Bob Smith is a REAL conservative, not a neo-con Bushmoonie. More like a Pat Buchanan type, except one who wore the uniform.

Ok - I KNOW I'm not reading that right. I couldn't possibly be. This is the guy who ditched the Repugnican party about 5 years ago because it wasn't conservative enough for him? He's voting for KERRY?

Bush backed Sununu against Smith in the NH Republican primary in 2000. Cost him his job.
