OMFG.

Just had a heated conversation with my boss who swears bin Laden "hates us for our freedoms". Then three other morans chimed in and all said the same fucking thing.

So I go online to some foreign policy blah blah site and PRINT OUT information about why we're so hated in the mideast and they STILL said they believe they "hate us for our freedoms" while they read the friggen information about the entire history of us and bin Laden right there in black and white.

Osama bin Laden should never, ever release a videotape when I'm PMS'ing because I simply can't take the stupidity it brings forth from the people I'm surrounded by.

2. LOL!! I had the same argument today with a co-worker!!

loL!! He kept saying 'they are jealous of us and our freedom", and I said, no, they hate that we have military bases in Mecca and Medina and other Muslim holy sites. I couldn't get it through to him.

I had to laugh my ASS off when I got home to see that new tape with bin Laden saying EXACTLY what I was saying. I loved how he reasoned that if he hated freedom, he would've picked on an easier country like Sweden! LOL!! Hate to say it, but the madman can make sense at times! lol!

3. Why would he care?

Why would he care about what the hell you do? What specific freedom is it that he hates? Do you really think they hate you because you're free to choose between Survivor and American Idol??? Or Walmart and Target?

4. What does that even MEAN?

I've never been able to get my mind around that concept. They hate us for our freedom.

Maybe it's because I can think of a thousand reasons why they REALLY hate us. And NO, it doesn't give them the right to come in and blow up buildings and place bombs in trucks, etc. But they're not doing it just because they're comic-book bad guys. They really think they have reasons, and it probably would do us some good to actually look into what they are.

6. You are not alone. I had two different people at work today say that my

supporting Kerry made me a traitor. Had two women ask "How can you vote for that man with his crass wife." Crass? PULEASE. They hate her because she has a mind of her own and knows how to use it. One of them said, "What has she ever done?" HELLO, what does Pickles do other than walk five paces behind Dumbya? She looks like her entire memory has been erased. ARGH!
