The Democrats must decide within a day or two if there's evidence of massive fraud.
Did Bush do better than expected on the Diebold machines than on other types of machines? Did Bush do better than expected in precincts that were not fully monitored by Democrats? Are there any videos of polling stations so that we can actually count the number of voters versus the number of votes passed?
The Democrats need to fight this as hard as possible, and we should take to the streets in protest to back them up. We have nothing to lose. We don't have the Senate, we don't have the House, we don't have the Presidency.
But, we do have something. We have a grassroots movement that reaches into every state from Alabama to Vermont. We have support in the most conservative hamlets of America as well as the most powerful cities. We have organizations that can help us communicate with each other and nationalize our issues. We have a lot of angry citizens on our side.
I for one am energized by this defeat, aware that we did very little from 1982 until about 2003, and in only a year we buiilt a national movement. For sake of the poor, world peace, civil rights, and civilization, we need fight on! Who will our leaders be over the next few years to help us wage war against the hate-filled fundies, the avaracious Republicans, and the paranoid right-wing? They are liars, they are cheaters, they are hate-mongers, and we must fight on. I know I will, and I'll fight even harder now than I fought in this last election.
