1. People who want to go from losing to complete irrelevance.
Why not just drop out?

7. Well, a person has to ask themselves...
If our candidate comes so close and fails to even get a better vote count in the last state standing in question - why not consider alternatives? Today is a day for many questions. We can at least do that - ask?

10. How can one be more irrelevant than being a Dem right now?
We have nothing. Not the media, not the House, not the Senate, not the Courts.

36. I want to stay with the Democrats
but seriously, should we stay with a party that does not seem to be able to win? We are in worse shape than ever.

One that prevents fake elections like the last two we've had.

5. Burt, I hear ya. See my site for info on election reform. I think we
need that even before we try to build up any parties.

11. Yep. Fight for election reform at the municipal and state levels
it'll be hell but we CAN change the federal gov't over that way. Maybe by the time I am a grandmother in 20 years, we'll actually feel good about voting for prez again.

13. The Democratic Party needs major reform.
GOP was out of the White House from 1932-1952 basically. They totally transformed their party during that time.

Does the party WANT to get stronger? Or is it somehow content to blow elections for the foreseeable future? What does it stand for anymore?

need to do more. I know for a fact that the folks within leadership positions within the Party are doing everything possible.

So we lost. We lost convinvincingly so you are goiong to run throw a tantrum with other losing insigigicant parties. Al you wind up doing is keeping the NeoCons and fundies in power.

THe only way to fix this is to bebuuild and rebuild towards the suburban moderates. It is the only way to win.

Grow up

21. GD Greens and Naderites wasted our resources this year and helped
usher in that madman both in 2000 and 2004 while Repugs helped them do it in every way they could.

The Republican Party thanks you for your interest in fighting against their primary enemy: the Democratic Party.

31. WE need a hammer guy!
We need a governor Talkin to keep the local systems in line. The Pugs won an election where 50% or more of the people that voted for them don't like or believe in the platform. Gays, abortion, deficit and they still voted for the POS! We don't need any more division on the left.

going to start cultivating their nominee for 2008 right now. We need to do the same thing. Instead of having ten guys tearing each other apart in order to get the nomination.

38. Uh, no.
All this election proved is that LIES WORK.

Period.

Bush, Rove, Hughes, Cheney lied every time their mouths opened.

They lied about policy and they lied about Kerry.

How would joining the Greens improve that?
