4. I think it's Edwards-Clark.
In fact, I think Clark is only running so that they can introduce him to people so that when he's the VP choice people know something about him.

That's what I think. The reality is probably that it's going to be one or the other, and who ever finishes highest will be Prez.

7. I like either
I think having Clark at the top of the ticket would be more potent in this current political climate, but I like them both. They are my two favorite candidates.

11. I think if Clark were on top, US would totally pull out of Iraq and voters
would scratch heads and be confused about why we need the guy.

The argument for Edwards doesn't disappear under any circumstance controllable by Bush.

13. Wow, you think Bush would react that drastically to Clark?
You think he'd totally pull out of Iraq if Clark is our nominee? Just to spite him?

If so, GOOD.

15. Then Bush would invade Iran after he wins the election.
And reoccupy Iraq.

Would that be good?

That's basically what Nixon did. Except Nixon didn't even have to withdraw. He just had to talk like he was going to withdraw and that was enough to win.

9. We'll see, bub.
Clark will be on TV literally every day this week and the NH primary is next Monday. Clark is making moves. Don't be a hater. If Clark and Edwards join forces, they could form the most awesome political unit since JFK-LBJ.

10. LBJ had political clout and could deliver Texas' electorial votes
and a lot of money.

Forgive me but what state can Clark deliver ? What political clout has he ?

was there a time when he was not ? sorry, I missed it. seemed as though he has had about as many opportunities to explain himself as Dr Dean has.

14. Edwards is the real deal
If he can maintain momentum, he's got a real chance. Much more so than I would have dreamed even 2 weeks ago. He's fun to watch. He's coming into his own. He's a genuinely nice guy and that goes a long way with me. Watching him at his rally on C-span literally gave me chills. Go get 'em John.

29. with a name like lieberman
he would unfortunately have a hard time winning the south. Remember I live down here and some things have not changed. It is just not talked about and is well hiden.

It is shameful, but true. Lieberman may poll well down here, but when it is time to pull that lever it is all a different story. Just ask Harvey Gant!!!

28. His my State senator but not my candidate
but damn I love that guy. I am a Clark woman, but Edwards would definitely be my second choice. Especially with his strong showing in IOWA.

I guess good guys can finish first. God I hope so!

30. Watching, listening to Edwards is so positive. I just smile.
I am so ready for this fight, he says. I dream about it at night. You give me the chance to take on George Bush, and I'll give you the White House.

You gotta believe.
