Anyone see Dean's interview on 'Faux & Friends' this morning?
Edited on Mon Jan-19-04 10:19 AM by TheWebHead
Dean got in a few zingers when being interviewed by Steve Doocy, including why he doesn't have cable at his home in Vermont "I'd probably spend too much of my time watching CNN" or something to that effect. Then Doocy claimed he told People he had "panic attacks" instead of Dean's claim of hyperventilating when Vermont's governor had a heart attack in '91, putting him into the slot. So Dean says I can't believe you'd say that and rolled his eyes saying "fair and balanced huh?"

So I e-mailed Faux's 'Weather Guy' Doocy with this:
Don’t worry, It’s probably consistent with a weatherman without a degree in meteorology to diagnose a MD without having a doctorate either.

and he responded:
I didn't diagnose him, I asked him about his People Magazine where he admitted he hyperventilated when faced with his sudden job change.
I have a masters in journalism. So I can report on where the clouds are.
---Steve

lol!

2. Steve Doocy
I've often wondered how much that guy gets picked on in the studio - being a closeted gay Republican AND a weatherman.

3. Wow, what an idiot...
A 'masters in journalism' doesn't make a meterologist, nor does it make a good journalist. A 3-year old can report where the clouds are. But he does have a point. It's all about pretending. It's unfortunate that tey all do it so poorly.

4. Steve Doocy is Faux's efforts at affirmative action in the stupid category
Doocy graduated from the "Stupid Project" a project that Faux is having second thoughts on.

6. what I think
Dean was trying to say in the People article was that he obviously had some anxiety becoming governor in such a quick and unexpected manner... I doubt he was literally hyperventilating, let alone jump it to panic attacks, but leave it to Faux to make an issue out of it.

And if he had plugged Fox instead of CNN, they'd probably say Dean was lying if he answered the same question in an interview with CNN and didn't say Faux again, seeing they dissect his every utterance

7. I saw it
I couldn't believe he did that bullshit with the "panic attack" and, when Dean called him on it, he had no idea what to say. Even the bimbo next to him made fun of him for going down that road.

Doocy and that other idiot (man) must love those Ailes memos every day: they tell them what to think and what to say.

9. He gets extra clown points...
...for making an early morning ass of himself. "I have a masters in journalism, so I can tell you where the clouds are." Well hell, if you need a masters in journalism to tell where the clouds are, what does it take to tell which way the wind blows, and if it is raining or not...

10. What school
did he get his degree? I always wondered where these so called journalists, commentators, etc. went to school and also what were their grades and thesis. Does anyone know ? How many graduated at the bottom of their class?

12. Faux morning show is simply the worst early morning show ever, you have
Doocy the class ass, the black guy that keeps getting cut off when he dares to speak and the woman that keeps uncrossing her legs.

The axis of stupid I say.
