Now the theme from the media is "Can Dean Recover?"
Dean has always done better when he is the underdog. I think this will energize Dean's base. Additionally when Dean wins Iowa this will have a huge impact because the media thought he was done for. So it'll pack a huge punch when the media labeled him as the most likely to win.

1. The media just wants to drag the whole nominating process out for as long
as they can. It gives them something to report and to talk about.

If any candidate wins so overwhelmingly that it obvious the nominating process is practically over, they want have as much fun - for as long!

2. I think so too.
I'm honestly not worried at all. I know why people support Dean. Dean supporters are GOING to be there. The older folks or the people who really don't care that much, who just support Kerry or Edwards because they "like" them aren't going to be nearly as reliable.

It's gonna be Dean and Gep, I believe, tonight. They've got the RIGHT people on their side.

3. Dean and Gep tonight is my thinking too. t
I kind of wish that the Dean camp would do internal polling to release to the media to counter some of the hype. The release would not be in numbers/percentage but some statement to the effect of 'our internal polls don't show that'.
