Could CNN suck any worse??
Check out this article: http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentServer?pagename=thestar/Layout/Article_Type1&c=Article&cid=1101855016338&call_pageid=970599119419

This may not be the biggest story in the world, but it's fairly significant.

Now check out CNN's coverage of Bush's trip:

Not a freakin word.

2. Natcherly ...... Chimpus Khan's saying it was major diplomatic fuck up
so why would CNN mention it? We all know that in this country's media Chimpus can do no wrong.

3. Quote from the Star article
"Martin reminded Bush in their private meeting that he is the leader of a minority government and that under a formal agreement forged with his opposition counterparts last month, he is committed to holding a vote in the Commons on missile defence."

For a split second there, I thought Martin was reminding * that * does not have a mandate regardless of how many crack pipes are thrown into the mix.

5. CNN publish the truth or show demonstrators or gold statue? NOT!
Don't give them the time of day to even read their trash. They have actually gone further down hill since the election than before the election. FORGET EVEN GIVING CNN ANY ATTENTION! They are getting right up there with Faux

6. I disagree strongly with your premise!
They are not "getting right up there with Faux" ..... they're FAR worse.

No one in the US thinks Faux is anything but what it is. They don't even try to hide it.

But CNN is still posing as an actual news organization. That's the insidious problem. They **appear** to be real news and portray themselves as such. THAT is the why they're so damned good at propaganda.

7. You're exactly right about that.
With the exception of their "Fair and Balanced" slogan -- which is downright laughable -- Fox is pretty open about who they are and who they support.

What pisses me off is that so many people still see CNN as this symbol of the "librul" media. Even when I tell my nice Democratic friends that I've given up watching CNN, they act surpised because they still buy into that premise.

9. Yes, you are right on... Stand corrected....CNN is worse than Faux!
as you describe it, yes they are worse! They have "surpassed" Faux!

CNN is worthless biased reporting (I would not call it "news" even)--- pure republican propaganda!

8. Give them time.
All this talk of missile defense makes me think that we are going to need it.

This is an interesting image:

Note the most northern track.
