Poll question: Hey, how about Martha Stewart in 2008?
I'm not being entirely facetious here. I've come to respect the woman enormously throughout her recent martyrdom (and I wasn't a former fan). If not for president, vice president? If neither of these then I suggest Secretary of the Interior! GOOOO MARTHA!!!

1. Considering the number of convicted criminals in the Bush camp
They really couldn't say much against Martha.

Having said that, I don't really believe she's qualified.

2. Has she ever mentioned an interest in politics?
We have plenty of very fine Democratic politicians.

3. She's been a strong contributor to the Dem Party.
I don't know if she'd be interested. I just think if she were she might be an asset, having gone through the Repuke mill and all. Probably has a few insights and definitely axes to grind. Nothing like martyrdom to make one a die hard activist.

4. When does she get out?
Anyone know when she gets released? Her first TV exposure should be very interesting. I'll bet she gets a multi-million dollar book deal.

5. Seems like she's about half way through, but it may be more.
I wish her the best.

8. She gets out in March and then has some house arrest time left.

6. she's donated quite a bit to our side

too bad that resource has been effectively killed. I doubt any candidate would accept a donation for at least 10 years.
