Anyone watching Crossfire today? It is so rife with hate mongering
that if the FCC had a backbone they would pull Falwell and the GOP shill (I try not to clutter my beautiful mind with useless names!) in for heavy fines for their nasty, petty comments. The repugs have given up any pretense of trying to be cordial and having a pseudo conversation about the issues. They are beyond smug, beyond hateful and beyond even attempting to make sense. And the audience has got to be paid plants. I have never heard such screaming and yelling of approval at every word that comes out of Falwell or the other guy's mouths. The barely let the liberal side get in a single word - and when they did they just laughed at every comment. The hate is just oozing out of every pore of these two. Why do Dems continue to appear on this show and pretend it is anything but a 30 minute hate fest for the repugs?
Thought they were canceling this junk and why doesn't Begalia bail while he still has at least a modicum of self respect?
to hear this crap. But in America they should have a right to say it as repugnant as it is. If we are going to try to censor "them," then the right wing will use that as an excuse to censor us.
10. Who was that Congresswoman who got reamed by Falwell and..
why the hell didn't she know what she was talking about?
The Republicans have their damn talking points. We've seen them posted here. Why the hell can't the damn Democrats come up with this sort of issue analysis and talking points of their own. I'm talking simple preperation on the issues and maybe a little debate training for party spokespeople--it's not brain surgery.
If someone sucks on TV they shouldn't be out there representing the damn party. Also, why can't the Democrats pay people to get into these things and boo the Republicans.
