1. Did Dean really say that?
(see the cartoon at top)
Did Dean really say that the Iowa caucus' special interests did not represent America?
If so, that might go a long way toward explaining the caucus results.

26. he said caucuses, not the Iowa caucus, but really, a lot of people think
caucuses aren't good for democracy... one person/one vote.

4. Ouch.
It looks like the third one is portraying Dean as a drunkard. That is below the belt IMO.

8. I don't see that
But it does remind people that he told a voter to sit down and be quiet and then, on the day of the caucuses, told the press to "get a new life." I expect they will do just that very soon.

20. Someone had a cartoon in their sig line that was portraying the lead up
to Iowa. It showed a snowy hill with two trees, Kerry had wiped out on a sled, Dean was flying down the hill on his sled and below him was Clark behind the tree with a mound of snowballs, one in hand and a rope in the other which was attached to the tree across Dean's path waiting to be pulled. I'm a Kerry supporter but I thought the cartoon was totally hilarious.

24. He's not there anymore.
And he's too "big" to guest on there anymore, I guess.

It's really odd; SNL has neither a Bush nor a Dean at the moment. It might be better for them if Kerry did got the nomination, because their Kerry impersonator has the voice and with a little work, could be made up to look like Kerry too.

Maybe Darrell Hammond could tackle Dean... now that Gephardt's out, he needs somebody new to play.

25. Caricatures of things that are no big deal, actually...
Edited on Wed Jan-21-04 07:17 PM by Dr Fate
the 1st cartoon makes fun of his stance on special interests- I agree with his stance.

the 2nd cartoon is a caricature of him being "mad"- I'm mad too. So area lot of DEMS...

3 ,4 & 5 are caricatures of Deans "anger" or passion & enthusiasm...

It's funny that the media cant take Dean on any actual ISSUES.

Dean is a DEM with DEM issues, and I wish the media would talk about THAT you know- ISSUES!!

They will do this with all of our hopefuls, so dont gloat folks!!!!

35. The Democratic kids who do the "...Bully George" comic have been
featuring Dean in their comic for weeks. A week ago Sunday he was burning the Bill of Rights and last Sunday he was showing off Howard's Bill of Rights. All the back issues can be found at mhull.rupa.com

If you look at enough back issues, you'll discover that the kids who do the comic once actually liked Dean.
