Now is the best chance we'll ever, ever get. Get the righties to distrust their own bastions of "truth," and they're cooked. They've served it up to us on a silver platter.

They spread the money around. Gallagher was just one more columnist paid by BushCo to propagandize the admin's policies. Like Williams, she didn't mention getting paid until getting caught, but swears her case is entirely different, because she would have agreed with Bush anyway. Now THERE'S a clever defense!

And you can be damned sure that if this many of them have been caught already, so close together, that there are many more out there. Next time you see one of those fresh new unknown young "pundits" on a talking heads show, you might as well assume they're paid Bush operatives unless you can be reasonable assured otherwise.
