1. I don't think Rudy has a chance
Hillary has proven herself in the Senate. The hate-spewing idiots around here in their trucks with the Hillary Not Now Not Ever stickers have quietly let them fall off the bumpers without replacing them. Upstate, and I don't mean Poughkeepsie, has no love of Rudy. He has done nothing for the people outside of NYC. Hillary gets that it takes a village, Rudy wouldn't even know what one was. He is too into his metropolitan life to have any way to relate to people who live in a village of less than 500 people.

3. It doesn't matter. They want to make all of their races, all about Hillary
And they want to make all of the 2006 races all about Rudy, 9/11, and the "War On Terror". They would of course love to topple Hillary, but they hope to get their people energized by making their vote a vote against Hillary, and a vote for Rudy, whatever State they might be in.

7. I don't think Rudy will run
The Bush administration I think ruined that with the whole Kerik thing.
Rudy thought he had them when he campaigned for Bush and then Bush did a payback for nominating Kerik and we all know what happened with that.

5. The reluctant candidate, who has to be talked into running, is standard.
all the talk of him running for President is just hype. This Republican party would never give him that nomination. They will continue to pimp him, as he continues to pimp 9/11.

8. i don't think he has much chance at winning the Primary
i would love it if they offered to support him for President in the Primary in exchange for his whoring but then turned around and supported someone else.

Frist, Allen, Santorum or any other asshole who runs in the Primary will just bring up his prochoice, gun control, gay rights record to use against him.

9. The only good that could come out of this is
A Clinton loss would call into question her ambitions for '08.

Though, I doubt anything could be effective enough to get the Clintons to edge out of the spotlight--much less off the stage. Their selfish egos come before party and country.

You should writing for Karl Rove, rather than just repeating his talking points, when it comes to the Clintons. Can you give any examples of how "Their selfish egos come before party and country."?

16. I regretted writing that, as I wrote it in anger. I apologize for that.
Your earlier statement matches right wing media talking points on the Clintons, giving them negative personal attributes. Now you state that "Hillary is no liberal, and less and less so with each passing day". I personally like a more outspoken committed opposition to the agenda of the movement that calls itself conservative. I am however pragmatic, and do understand that there may be some posturing, and deal making done by the RINOs and DINOs that give them the power to get things done, and to win. I want Hillary to win her upcoming Senate race. I want her to remain in the Senate. I don't want her to be who we run for President. That's just right wing hype, to make her seem power mad, and to detract from her accomplishments in the Senate.

12. Rudy has NO chance at the nomination
I actually think Guiliani would do well in a national election, but it doesn't matter because Republicans will never nominate a pro-choice social liberal. I actually hope that he does get the nomination. He would do well with swing voters, but the Republican base wouldn't show up for him.

14. That's why they want to run him for the Senate.
It doesn't matter that he's behind her in the polls. It has great propaganda value for them, that they can use to win other races. Also they really want to take that Senate seat away from Hillary, and Rudy's their best shot to do it.
