I'd just like to take a moment to tip my hat to judge Richard Kramer, who handed down the ruling on gay marraige in SF yesterday.

I personally am encouraged that a Republican judge could honestly look at the Constitutions of the state of California and the United States, and come to the conclusion that gays and lesbians deserve the equal protection of the law.

I believe that everyone in the country who truly believes in the Constitution and the rule of law owes him thanks. Best wishes to him and his family.

a "liberal" court member. that has got to sting a bit.
