http://www.theempirejournal.com/we_are_not_going_to_be_forced_ou.htm"Attention Attacker:
Thank you for being so sloppy! While you were temporarily successful in deleting a few files, you revealed some details and left some log tracks. We have implemented an IDS and are looking forward to seeing your IP's again. We've switched ISP's as well, as you know.
You have violated 18 USC Sec. 1030(a) (CFAA), the Patriot Act, and possibly the Digital Millenium Copyright Act. For the former alone, a single, first-time offense is a felony punishable by five years in federal prison. This actually could be a good thing -- if you're lucky, you'll get in pretty good shape, learn a new trade, meet interesting people, how to stay warm with a newspaper and how to use a stainless steel urinal, and perhaps even learn that you're not quite as smart as you thought. If we are able to gather enough information to catch you, you will be charged with multiple felony counts, each carrying significant penalties. In addition, several types of hacking have become terrorist offenses punishable by life in prison. When we nail you, we'll also subpoena your financial records to determine the source of your funding, whether this is terror-related, or whether you came up with this idiocy on your own."
*******
They have a blog devoted to saving the life of a woman who is in a PVS. For hacking that blog, they recommend the hacker be sentenced to prison for life. Why don't these people see their own hypocrisy?
