3. PNAC's statement of principles reads like an ultimatum for war...
...against all who challenge America's claim to world domination:

<snip from your link>

Our aim is to remind Americans of these lessons and to draw their consequences for today. Here are four consequences:

• we need to increase defense spending significantly if we are to carry out our global
responsibilities today and modernize our armed forces for the future;

• we need to strengthen our ties to democratic allies and to challenge regimes hostile to our interests and values;

• we need to promote the cause of political and economic freedom abroad;

• we need to accept responsibility for America's unique role in preserving and extending an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity, and our principles.

Such a Reaganite policy of military strength and moral clarity may not be fashionable today. But it is necessary if the United States is to build on the successes of this past century and to ensure our security and our greatness in the next.

<end of snip>

5. Has anyone noticed...................
that the their agenda consists more of protecting and promoting Israel rather than protecting and promoting Americans? Perhaps they consider it one in the same, but the entire plan is about Israel's safety and security. Granted, Israel is the only outpost of Democracy in the region, yada, yada, yada. But to what extent is our protection of Israel acting as a detriment to programs that help our own country, our own people?
Israel seems quite capable of taking care of itself, thanks mostly to our government giving Israel access the weapons and technology that wouldn't be afforded any other country.
Are we sacrificing our own needs at home to ensure that Israel is safe and secure?

6. PNAC et al
Here's a good read about the rise of five of the neo-cons. Knowing the backgrounds of today's ringleaders will help one see the policy foundations. "Gang of Five" by Nina J. Easton (wife of Ron Brownstein) pub. 2000.
As to Israel...yes, the MSM won't touch this topic. Thank the
AIPAC and other powerful lobbies. A nuclear power, but never
mentioned. They sell arms and other systems to everyone..China, etc.
Many of the "PNAC principles" signers are close to the Likud party. It's hypocrisy of the highest degree
