Pics from Hollywood March 3/19

The march and rally in Hollywood yesterday was VERY well attended. I met up with JoeFree, his companions, and his new and improved Mad King Shrub Float, shown in the picture above.

A funny story...

I enjoy doing verbal battle with the Freepers. Despite a concerted effort by the far-right, only about a dozen showed up.

When I asked them about the pathetic turnout, one claimed that they, unlike us, 'had jobs'. When I pointed that it was a Saturday, he admitted that most were probably watching college basketball, which he would rather be doing. Such dedication !

Of the three I engaged, NONE would admit to being a Repugnican. Evidently they're ashamed ( as they should be ) of their own party.

One 'claimed' to be a Libertarian, and when I asked him if he was aware then Libertarian Repub Ron Paul was against the war, he asked who Ron Paul was. When I berated him for not knowing who the only self-proclaimed Libertarian in Congress was, he said that he knew who Larry Elder was ! The other two Freepers claimed to be 'independents'.

The cops kept them corralled like the sheep they are.

It was a very successful day, with a wonderful turnout in spite of the rain - and great meeting up with JoeFree as well.
