1. So any Democrat who supports the war should join the GOP?
That seems to be what you're saying. Apparently, those of us who think it was right to remove Hussein from power can't belong in YOUR party, or at the very least, our opinions aren't worthy of respect or accomodation by our party's leaders.

Personally, I want to bring people into the party, not kick people out.

6. It's not just his support of the Iraq war. He's a DINO, and
probably more conservative than many Northeastern Repubs. He aligned himself with Lynn Cheney in a movement to block intellectual rights among academia. Please just go away LIEberman.

10. Sorry, but what you said is demonstrably false
He votes like a liberal Democrat on social issues and most economic issues. The ONLY thing that sets him apart from other Democrats is his hawkishness on foreign policy (although there are far more Democratic hawks -- Bill Clinton included -- that DU'ers will acknowledge) and his willingness to talk publicly and favorably about religious faith.

If you look at his voting record and his interest group ratings, you'll see that he is significantly more liberal than any Republican in the Senate with the exception of Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island.

If you don't believe me, spend a little time on the Project Vote Smart web site. And remember, the truth will set you free.

13. Hussein is bad, we're better off w/o him, but sending kids to die means
"last" resort has been reached.

I do wish Joe would explain why he saw/sees the "last resort" that Bush claims to have seen.

but the question is moving forward at this point - and not having more die before we - the folks in America - agree we have reached the "last resort"

And I think Joe is on that same page as to the future - and I believe you are also.

So it is time to both expand the party, and keep you and Joe and others that find the Iraq war justified in the party!

peace

:-)

they keep talking the bull about Clark being a closet republican when Lieberman (who has used that line against Clark) is clearly the most unappologeticly republican like in his outlook and puts down the party for some of its stands. I'm not flaming him, it's what I see.

11. Whore?
Lieberman a whore? He supports US removing husane but criticize Bush for going about it the wrong way. Does that make him a whore?

If that so, maybe this party should recruite robots that has no sense of right or wrong but just follow whatever your candidate belives in?

Surely, that is not what you are saying? I don't want to seem like flaming you and get in trouble, so please explain yourself?
