Clark was Excellent on 911 at the debates
He said it plain and simple - "Saying that the attacks of 911 could not have been prevented is just an excuse". If Bush says that more attacks are inevitable, and he can't do anything about it, then obviously Bush is not qualified to be president.

There is no reason Bush had to interfere with John O'Neill's investigation of the Bin Laden family funding terrorism. There is no reason that Bush had to ignore the Gore commission's recommendation and follow their anti-terrorist plan. There is no reason Bush had to fly the Bin Ladens out of the country before they could be questioned by the FBI. Under Clinton, we did NOT have 4 planes hijacked, flying around for hours, and hitting our major city and the headquarters of our military while Bush did a photo op.

That did NOT have to happen, and Clark is 100% right about it. Good for him.

2. Clark was good on 9-11, but I feel he was poor on domestic issues...
I like Clark, but I feel he's too much of a foreign policy candidate. He's really got much the same creds as Kerry when it comes to foreign policy, but Kerry appears to be more credible when dealing with domestic issues.

Clark is another candidate that the anti-war people can latch on to... an alternative to Dean I suppose... but Iowa showed that people aren't voting on foreign policy/anti-war or else Kerry and Edwards wouldn't have gotten around 70% of the total Iowa vote. ;)

3. Excuse me?
Point me to all of the domestic policy issues Clark was asked about in the debate. I seem to remember prove you're not a republican, how do you square your support of reproductive choice with catholic doctrine, why won't you denounce michael moore, why did you say this on an article that's almost a year old, and ONE question about the Patriot Act.

4. Since this thread is about the debate...
let's be honest. Wes Clark was not given one opportunity (question) to discuss domestic issues. Nope. Not one opportunity. As usual.
