ONLY if we allow them to get away with it. I have a link to Bush's military records on my "favorites" list and when I went to pull it this morning to email it to some "doubting Thomases," the page had been pulled. This is the beginning of what is promising to be a huge dog fight and the only way to beat it is to be extremely "pro-active" in refuting--with facts--any spin or lies that the press throws out to the public. Everytime a lie or spin is thrown out there for public consumption, I think it is important to bombard the "spinners" with facts.
Wesley Clark should have used the facts of Bush's military records to defend WHY Micheal Moore said Bush was a desserter. The proof is there.
I can't go through another 2000 election year with lies not being refuted like it was with Al Gore. So many times, he let opportunities go by and not refute what were obvious lies. Nope, not this time, especially with smug commentators like O'Reilly, Scarborough, Matthews, and the list goes on...:spank:
They have the luxury of a microphone and television to spin their love-fest of Bush, but that doesn't mean that they will get away with it anymore.
I think we need to :kick: these guys where it hurts and make this a miserable election year for them. This is where we really need to focus as a collaborative effort, not with what candidate is the "slam" favorite of the week.
