Is George W Bush hiding some deep dark secrets ?
That, if exposed, would put the Monica Lewinsky scandal to shame? What type of person do we really have in the White House? People have tended to dismiss all those stories about his sexual proclivities - dating back to Yale and his relationship with the former Mayor of Knoxville, who is now an Ambassador in some far corner of the world.

Are we dealing with a man that brought "honor and integrity" to the White House or are we dealing with a psychopathic pervert? There are many questions out there but one thing is for certain. He will never admit to anything and he will do everything in his power to keep any information from going public. However, people have suspicions and that is not healthy for leaders...

1. Well there is the Gannon-Guckert story that gets deeper every day...
Anything is possible and we already know there is no honor or integrity in the White House. I say, let he suspicions rise up- let's get them on the defensive. Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot...

Just in case you haven't read the latest chapter, here's a great piece from Raw Story that broke this evening...

http://rawstory.com/exclusives/byrne/secret_service_gannon_424.htm

"In what is unlikely to stem the controversy surrounding disgraced White House correspondent James Guckert, the Secret Service has furnished logs of the writer’s access to the White House after requests by two Democratic congressmembers.

The documents, obtained by Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY) and Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) through a Freedom of Information Act request, reveal Guckert had remarkable access to the White House. Though he wrote under the name Jeff Gannon, the records show that he applied with his real name.

Gannon’s ready access to President Bush and his work for a news agency that frequently plagiarized content from other reporters and tailored it to serve a conservative message may raise new questions about the White House’s attempts to seed favorable news coverage. Democrats have sought to paint Guckert in the context of other efforts by the Administration to “plant” positive spin by paying for video news releases and columnists to espouse their views.

Guckert made more than 200 appearances at the White House during his two-year tenure with the fledging conservative websites GOPUSA and Talon News, attending 155 of 196 White House press briefings. He had little to no previous journalism experience, and previously worked as a male escort.

Perhaps more notable than the frequency of his attendance, however, is several distinct anomalies about his visits.

Guckert made more than three dozen excursions to the White House when there were no scheduled briefings. On many of these days, the Press Office held press gaggles aboard Air Force One—which raises questions about what Guckert was doing at the White House.

On at least fourteen occasions, Secret Service records show either the entry or exit time missing. Generally, the existing entry or exit times correlate with press conferences; on most of these days, the records show that Guckert checked in but was never processed out.

In March, 2003, Guckert left the White House twice on days he had never checked in with the Secret Service. Over the next 22 months, Guckert failed to check out with the Service on thirteen days. On several of these visits, Guckert either entered or exited by a different entry/exit point than his usual one. On one of these days, no briefing was held."

5. Whoa. Echoes of Lewinsky.
Guckert was definitely boinking somebody in the White House. My money's on Kkkarl Rove, the chinless wonder.

8. Yup - he was boinking someone in the inner circle.
Regardless of who it was, we need to keep this story out there- start spreading it to everyone you know please. Imagine the joy in our hearts if Rove (or Dick C. or Bush) winds up in front of a media pool saying "I did not have sexual relations with that man". Don't you just love that visual?

11. Only one person in the White House....
Rove, McClellan, or other assistants would probably set up their rendevous' outside of the White House, don't you think?

2. Unfortunately his national guard record got forgotten
With all talk about the falsified memos shown by Dan Rather, people seem to forget that the actual information was shown to be correct. Plus there was plenty of evidence against Bush even without the memos.

Of course such problems from his past aren't bothering his supporters. On one level he gets away from it for being born again. On another level, they might be right in ignoring his past. After all, what he is doing now is more important, and if you want the country pushed towards the far right, Bush is your man. Hopefully more will come out which will alienate moderate Republicans who voted for him.

3. He inoculated himself by admission, then saying he got born again
I think just about anything he did before he got "born again" is going to be excused as the doings of a wayward sinner that found god.

Besides, most of his scandals are right out in the open. The stories don't seem to "get traction" or his True Believers just don't think it's true.

9. I don't think he's a man of honor and integrity
Edited on Sun Apr-24-05 09:23 PM by MissWaverly
He lies constantly, does he have deep, dark secrets, probably, he lied about the WMD's because he wanted to invade Iraq, I don't think he was upfront on 9-11, either pre-analytical or post-analytical, he never mentioned the 52 memos. He said that he admired Kerry's war record, while people working for his campaign were actively trying to smear it (his campaign lawyer advising the Swift Boaters).

10. Or this?
COCAINE:
"According to a new book, three independent sources close to the Bush family report that Governor Bush was arrested in 1972 for cocaine possession, and taken to Harris County Jail, but avoided jail or formal charges through an informal diversion plan involving community service with Project P.U.L.L., an inner city Houston program for troubled youths at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Houston's dirt-poor Third Ward. (In another new book, reporter Bill Minutaglio, writes that the year of community service was arranged by the Governor's father, ex-president Bush, after he caught Bush Jr. driving drunk.)

That year certainly is out of character with the rest of Bush Jr.'s life. Before and after 1972, he was a rich, hard drinking playboy. Suddenly, and only that one time in his life, he worked for a liberal charity in an inner city ghetto. As soon as the year was over, he resumed his previous pattern and has done no charity work since."

This would be a little after Kerry getting his Silver Star, Bronze Star, and three
purple hearts ....... only to be swift boated later

13. wasn't there speculation about him having an illegitimate child?

Someone reportedly turned up some interesting info while investigating that thing about him changing his Texas driver's license number. Note that Bush would have been about 17 years old at the time this other George W. Bush (related or not) had been conceived.

"During our search for the truth about Dubya's past, we came across something very interesting indeed! Another George W. Bush, white male, blue eyes, brown hair, but born on Oct. 17, 1964! What called our attention to this person, since there are so many Bushes living in Texas, this person's record was deleted on Dec. 24, 1998. Could there possibly be a connection between this person and Dubya that we as voters as yet are not aware of and why was his record deleted?"

Bush was attending Andover (graduated spring 1964, I presume) ... but I imagine that he could have spent his Christmas vacation in Houston with his folks?
