1. I kept wondering where the professional journalists were
and what all the incurious starstruck high schoolers were doing in the room.

2. The hardest one seemed to be the
"you don't mind me calling you Stretch in front of all these people do you Stretch?"

3. Just hearing "on your watch" was good enough for me
Q Mr. President, your State Department has reported that terrorist attacks around the world are at an all-time high. If we're winning the war on terrorism, as you say, how do you explain that more people are dying in terrorist attacks on your watch than ever before?

Okay not really but there were some good questions it just that W didn't come close to answering them.

6. David Gregory did OK
he asked the filibuster question; the one about Dems blocking judges because of their faith.

Shrub's answer probably angered the fundies cause he disagreed; wouldn't commit to the faith question. That's a good thing.

7. maybe
he is gettin pressure from the non fundies (who actually give him money) to move away from fundamental Christianity now that the typically lower income fundies have already casted their votes.

8. Gregory had to follow up a follow up
Q Do you think that's an inappropriate statement? And what I asked is --

THE PRESIDENT: No, I just don't agree with it.

Q You don't agree with it.

THE PRESIDENT: No, I think people oppose my nominees because -- because of judicial philosophy

Q Sorry, I asked you what you think of the ways faith is being used in our political debates, not just in society --

THE PRESIDENT: No, I know you asked me that. Well, I can only speak to myself...

9. I actually thought that they did much better than usual
No, they didn't ask him the questions we want to know. Not that he would have ansered them but they did almost all seem to get a good dig in at him in the stating of the questions. They mentioned bad polls, losing ss, insurgency at same level, terrorism increased in the world, gas prices, torture planes, using religion in govt.

I thought that was much much better than the usual. I think the worm has turned. Keep it rolling.

Bush impeached by fall, Indicted right after that.
From the White HOuse to the Big HOuse

We'll move on, when Bush moves out.

12. I think
that they could have followed up their questions to make Bush answer them, but the original questions werent total softballs.

17. I think after all this is over (bush impeached-all indicted) that we need
to change the way the elected officials deal with the public. This bullshit of buying support, planting reporters, refusing to answer, and not having to give answers to the full satisfaction of the public has got to stop.

These people are suppose to be SERVING u. They should be grilled like a burger anytime we want. No corporate donations to politicians.

13. It isn't necessarily the degree of
the difficulty of the question that matters, it is the follow-up questions that are NEVER asked. ** has a prepared answer for the questions they suspect will be asked. But I can guarantee that he is not prepared for a follow-up. And unfortunately, our ego-driven journalists are only concerned with their questions being asked and give no concerned to a subject being thoroughly vetted.

14. The reason I don't watch is because * just doesn't answer
the question. He says I'm prtctin Americns. The end. He avoids all questions and sticks to his Orwellian talking points. No one can shake him. It's too frustrating to see. Do they get to ask follow up questions???

15. For a Whore Media "press conference" some of the questions weren't bad.
Problem is that the Idiot Son of an Asshole didn't answer any of them.

16. mostly vague softballs on general issues
designed to let him recite his talking points.

the few specific questions were sidestepped, ignored or not answered.
