A blast from the past

More and more I'm reminded of a song done when I was but a wee lad, a song I was introduced to when I was a teenager. It was written about a different time, but it's come full circle now to the point it's even more relevent today than it was then, in my opinion.

I'm not sure of the rules re: posting something like song lyrics, so I'll just give part of the first verse and post a link to the lyric page.

Love that song, and, yes, I too have had it running in my head lately. A lot.
