Mitch McConnell Calls It "The Byrd Option" Six Times On Fox News Sunday
Mitch McConnell used the term "The Byrd Option" in the course of answering one question on Fox News Sunday. This means that their propaganda machine will be using their too often used lie that "They did the same thing" or "They tried to do the same thing", by renaming their "Nuclear Option", "The Byrd Option". Expect to hear this term used often in the coming weeks.

1. For the record:

"In 1980, then majority leader Robert C. Byrd asserted the right of the Senate to consider nominations out of the order listed in the Senate’s calendar of business. However, adoption of this practice only affected the process for scheduling business in the Senate. It did nothing to restrict Senators’ right to debate and filibuster on a nomination."

As usual, the Republicans are using framing to win the issue instead of using facts. It won't work this time because Liberals are onto their game.

To fight back: Avoid the use of "Byrd Option" in your writing. Stick to "Nuclear Option."

3. They are running scared of a true patriot, Robert Byrd. Never
believe anything that tight lipped McConnell bastard says. That's the scoop from one of his (unfortunate) constituents.
